I must admit that there is a kind of dumb happiness in blindly following the religious rants and edicts from the purveyors, promoters, and advocates of a religious faith--any faith. Most working middle class conservatives are incapable of answering the question presented by the photo below with a response that benefits their families. FLorida Governor Rick Scott Vetoes Plan To Save Dying Indian River

Rick Scott, Republican Governor of Florida ,has vetoed a bill that would provide conservation research efforts on the 156 miles long Indian River Lagoon. While some people seemed shocked by the veto of this bi-partisan bill, they shouldn't be. Governor Scott's veto to help save what may be a dying river is consistent with the Conservative Republican assault on what is best for America and the 98% of American families that are not wealthy. A message from Mary Anne Hitt, Beyond Coal Campaign, Sierra Club: Last year, the Sierra Club and our allies submitted nearly 250,000 comments to the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) opposing the expansion of the privately owned Alton Coal Mine onto federal land in southern Utah, 10 miles from Bryce Canyon National Park.
