There is no way around it. American citizens who voted for predatory conservative Republicans because they hate President obama and Obamacare are naive and brained washed beyond redemption. If any conservative voter, or any American citizen for that matter, voted for this group of predatory House and Senate Republican obstructionists did so because they think this predatory bunch of fake patriot conservatives simply want to get rid of the Affordable Care Act (ACA), because Obamacare is expensive and doesn't work, or because they hate Obama, your ignorance goes beyond delusional stupidity.
As Brian Beutler so eloquently wrote in The New Republic: "The people who brought you the phony arithmetic of the Bush Tax cut, and Medicare Part D, and the self-financing Iraq are upset about the ACA (Obamacare) which is genuinely fiscally sound."
Right Wing conservative Republicans voted against the ACA and tried to repeal Obamacare more than 50 times in 2014 because they don't want you to have affordable health care. If you and your children are not economically blessed enough to afford the outrageously expensive cost of health insurance, that's just too bad.
If you are too poor to buy health insurance to cover unexpected illnesses and accidents, the GOP believe that you and your kind should simply die and go away. But don't feel bad citizen. If you are fortunate enough to lose your heath insurance because the predatory conservatives and teaparty republicans you voted into office manage to repeal the ACA they call Obamacare, just remember it's not personal; it's just Business.
If you didn't know it, citizen, know it now. The business of health care in America isn't about health care, it's about business. Corporate business. All health care policies are designed to protect insurance companies, hospitals, and doctors--in that order. And the general public be damned.
In 2006 I had emergency appendectomy surgery. After a three day stay in the hospital the full charge of my hospital bill was $24,000. I was fortunate enough to have medical insurance. As a result, my insurance company paid the hospital a previously negotiated fee of $3700 (likely the true cost) for my surgery and hospital stay. I made a co-pay of $50. Sound fair to me. Without insurance I would have been saddled for the entire $24,000. Where is the fairness in that? Where is the justice in that
The $24,000 charge is what some hospitals call "full charges. However, the weight of full charges fall more heavily on the poor and the uninsured than they do on insurance companies who are obscenely flushed with cash.
So keep the faith conservative leaning citizens. You have the satisfaction of knowing that the predatory Republican congressional men and women you voted into office in 2014 will do their best to insure that fewer of you will have affordable heath care or health insurance of any kind in 2015 and beyond.
Your predatory members of congress will also do their best to insure that if you don't have health insurance, predatory hospitals will be able to:
1. Bill you for "full charges".
2. Have your bill sent to collection if you are unable to pay or fall behind in your obscene payments.
3. Will add interest fees to your already inflated bill which you are already unable to pay.
4. Attach legal fees to your already inflated bill.
5. Eventually force you to go into personal bankruptcy, if you are legally and financially able to do it.
6. When you die, attach liens to your estate, if you have any, before your children can receive any of your meager assets.
So listen up my good conservative American citizens. When you hear your predatory conservative congressional members and their obscenely paid conservative media trolls say that Obamacare is too expensive, they mean it is too expensive for insurance corporations because it cut into their enormously obscene corporate profits.
And when you, your family, your relatives, your friends, and other American citizens you couldn't care less about end up paying $300 for an aspirin or some other economical painkiller, or be billed $24,000 for a hospital stay worth only $3700 to the insurance company, you have no one to blame but yourself. And let's face it, there is fairness and justice in that; isn't there?
