In their support and adulation of Donald Trump Evangelicals and other professed Christians ignore the fact that their president spits rhetoric and exercises behavior that offends the God and The Christ they pretend to love and follow. But fundamentalists who proclaim The Bible is the Word Of God often bastardize The Bible to justify behavior that is antithetical to the God and The Christ they proclaim to love and pattern their lives after.
These hypocritical fundamentalists, who swear that the Bible is "the word Of God", conveniently ignore the warning their Bible gives to those "vipers and hypocrites" who bastardize and profane "The Word Of God." The three quotes in bold below typifies what hypocritical "Christians" choose to ignore. The third quote in bold below explains their addictions to Donald Trump, a man who words and behavior are antithetical to Jesus of Nazareth.
The Prophet Isaiah, the prophet Christians say foretold the coming of Jesus Christ warned with these words: "Woe to those who enact evil statues, and those who constantly record unjust decisions, So as to deprive the needy of justice, and the poor of my people of their rights". It doesn't take a Biblical Scholar or a secular genius to reach the conclusion that the Prophet Isaiah prophesied about the despicable mantra and behavior of contemporary Republicans in the congress and in local and state legislative bodies across the United States Of America.
We find these warnings in The Book Of Proverbs: "there are six things which the Lord hates, Yes seven which are an abomination to Him: Haughty eyes, a lying tongue, And hands that shed innocent blood. A heart that devises wicked plans, Feet that run to evil, A false Witness who utters lies, And one who spread strife among brothers.
These warnings from the book Of Isaiah and the Book Of Proverbs are examples of the policies, Executive Actions, Cabinet Member Selections, rants and rhetoric that characterize the Presidency of Donald Trump and the Legislative behavior of the Republican Party.
Unfortunately, there are Americans who claim to be led by the "The Word of God" and who supposedly believe the Bible is the Word of God, who also insists on ignoring the warning of "The Word".
The Apostle Paul explains this fundamentalist addiction to anti-Christ behavior and foretold why "Christian" conservatives support Donald Trump's Republican Party and are resistant to Christ-like behavior and truth.
"...God gave them over to a depraved mind, to do those things which are not proper, being filled with unrighteousness, wickedness, greed, evil, full of envy, strife, deceit, malice; they are gossips, slanderers, insolent, arrogant, boastful, inventors of evil, disobedient to parents, without understanding, untrustworthy, unloving, unmerciful; and although they know the ordinances of God, that those who practice such things are worthy of death, they not only do the same thing, but also give hearty approval to those who practice them".
If you call yourself a Christian but are unable to understand that these warning and admonitions from "the Word Of God" are warnings and admonitions about Donald Trump and the contemporary Republican Party or couldn't care less that they are; then Paul's admonitions are about you. But given the state of your addiction in the face of everything the "Word Of God" has directed you, it is likely you are already cursed with your addiction. For you have already been "given over to a depraved mind to do those things which are not proper, being filled with unrighteousness,...greed evil...deceit, malice,...without understanding, untrustworthy, unloving, unmerciful...but also give hearty approval to those who practice (these abominable things)".
Given what apparently is the depth of your uncontrollable addiction to hypocrisy, power, blatant lies, greed, hate, sexism, racism, xenophobia, homophobia, and the despotic desire to hurt those who are not like you; even if they are poor like you; even if they are middle class like you; even if they are not wealthy like you are not wealthy; and are not Christian like you are not Christian; your demise may be irreversible.
If it is, so be it. And may the God you hypocritically pray to have mercy on you, the soul that defines you, and the soul which apparently prefers damnation over truth, love, and civility.
